Homeless man

Some homeless people are too funny.

So I go to Wawa on RSA & Longshore last night around 10 PM and there is a man in his 60's wandering around with a beat up looking dollar bill in his hand. It looked to me like he was looking to see what to get with a buck. He was clearly homless with mismatched worn out shoes, hair that hadn't been washed since he was 15 and clothes that weren't washed since he got them from the shelter back in 92. He was really a pathetic looking case. I felt sorry for him so I asked if he was hungry. He said yes so I asked what he wanted and that I would get him something.
This is where it gets funny.

tip of the day #37

Try-

Don't be afraid of failure-

some of our best accomplishments are achieved after many failures- If we don't try we cannot achieve and if we don't try we cannot be victorious- But if we don't try we already failed-

Epic Paradox

Tip of the day #35

See the big picture-

You ever  have something happen or come upon a situation that directly involves you and you respond to it immediately and several days/weeks/months/years down the road you realize that you completely blew that one out of proportion from the start?

I think it is a matter of seeing the big picture that allows you to respond in a correct manner.

Being able to think into the future is a key to seeing the big picture. Sacrificing now for someone or something's future is seeing the big picture- Spending time with someone or on something now instead of self satisfying is is seeing the big picture- Seeing a test or trial for what it is instead of seeing 'poor me' is seeing the big picture.

How to type on facebook

Have you ever looked at a facebook conversation and thought to yourself that these people must be retarded must be grammatically lacking by choice with how they spell things? It takes twice as long to read a post or comment when they type as though they are texting with things such as "ur th bst thng tht hs evr hapnd 2 me" or "Thx 4 th cal lst nte". It makes you look like an uneducated 12  year old. It's facebook, you have a full keyboard, type it out people, really. That's my opinion anyway.

Bt if u dnt agre u cn alwys typ lke u want 2

Tip of the day #30

Don't Assume-

Don't assume, it makes an .... you know the saying...  When someone assumes something instead of just asking a simple question that could avoid say an additional trip to the store, or avoid an accident or mishap at work, or avoid an argument or a feud or avoid anything negative really, We think to ourselves, 'why would they assume instead of just asking a simple question?".

Definition of Assume:

"take to be the case or to be true;  to accept without verification or proof"

Now you know why the saying goes "to assume make an a$$ out of  U & ME- get it- assume- ass-u-me- assume.

Be the big person, ask the question, don't assume. It's embarrassing when you realize you are wrong.

Parents (add on)

The previous post was not as a result of anyone complaining to me about anything. Not family, not friends- If it got to you and caused you to lash out or feel guilty or make a phone call consider why it did. DONT BLAME OHTERS FOR YOUR INACTIONS AND IRRESPONSIBILITY- I've never heard the main caregiver of my relatives EVER complain about her responsibilities with her mom. You can apologize at any point if you acccused her. This post was general- no pointed at any one in particular.

Parents

Parents-

Parents can be alot of things to alot of people for alot of years, but one thing they should never be is expendable.

Whether you have parents or not, whether you want parents or not or whether you need parents or not, most of us have them at one point in our lives. Some for 60 years, some for 60 months and some for 60 minutes. Whether you have them now or lost them young is nothing that you can control. If you don't have them it gives you  no special 'feel sorry for me' privileges and if you do have them it gives you no 'feel sorry for me' privileges.

Parents, no matter who they are, should be treated with respect no matter how old or young they are. They raised you and took care of you and you are where you are today because they chose to have you. You may not like how they raised you or who they are today but that was their choice.

Good habits are just good choices made over and over again.

Tip of the day #28

Be a responsible parent-

This was originally going to be Sunday's tip of the day- But since Anita and I were under the weather we took care of each other and I didn't feel like thinking let alone typing or anything else for that matter. But PTL I'm almost back to normal and here goes.

Some parents forget that they are parents and have little ones to raise. You'd think that after, say, 15 years they would realize 'hey I better stop acting in my usual irresponsible ways and set a good example'.

Tip of the day #27

Laugh-

Laughing does everyone good- When things arise that are out of your control, Laugh. When things are funny, Laugh. Laugh with your kids, laugh with your friends, laugh with everyone, laugh at yourself.

You ever around someone who seems to not really laugh that much and it seems to be like a hanging around a dimly lit candle, just flickering at humorous things? Well don't be that person!! You be the spot light! The beacon of laughter that makes you glow.

Laughing: It's awesome

Most critical 4 years!

As parents, we choose to have children and therefore we are obligated to sacrifice almost everything in our life to raise, teach and protect...
