Catholic church not above the law anymore
Philadelphia DA Charges Priests, Teacher In Sex Abuse Case
Now while I'm not a big fan of the Catholic church, i'm also not a fan of people going to jail or doing things to other people that could land them in jail.
So that being said, I'll say this "It's about time that Priests got arrested and charged for abusing children".
For a long time whenever there were allegations of sex scandals or child abuse within the catholic church it was hushed and the church would investigate and punish within itself. Meanwhile, innocent children would be molested and worse in a place where they are supposed to be the safest, in their school or church, but the people who are supposed to protect them, their teachers and church leaders. Where was the DHS in these cases, where was the DA in these cases. The children complain and they are ignored and probably threatened.
So, it's about time the DA did something about. I would not like to see them get convicted of a crime they did not commit, BUT, if they are truly guilty of the crime I would like the see the DA and the judge make an example of them. Put them away for taking the children's innocence from them. Don't let the clout of the catholic church intimidate you.
I say that because this is not a one time crime, it is a repeat crime, one they thought about and repeated. If they are guilty they repeated their crimes. I'm a fan of second chances, they lost theirs.
Really though, if you can't keep it in your pants, leave the church and get a wife or at least a hooker!

Tip of the day #15
Make a decision and stick to it! Don't make the decision in haste. Think it through, pray and make your decision for you, not feeling pressure from anyone else. Because unless you make the decision based on your own conclusions and convictions, you will flip flop both in mind and deed.
Be committed to your convictions no matter what they are. They are yours,,, own them, nurture them, keep them fresh. If you doubt, they are not yours.
The way to find out if your decisions and convictions on ANY matter are truly yours is to think , "if I were living alone, secluded with no one to prove myself to or no one to disappoint, would I still decide like this!"

Tip of the day #13
When considering marriage, make sure that the thing that holds/brings you together now is something that will last and withstand what is to come in married life. That common ground, those things you have in common now, will they still be present when kids are in the picture? Is it something that will be out of picture in married life? Therefore putting stress on the relationship because that glue that once was is not allotted a time slot in your busy life. Getting married too young is when some couples run into this situation. They are still too young and in the infatuation stage that they aren't thinking long term. Wait and consider the future with them. I waited til 30. Found lasting bonds and no regrets.

Tip of the day #12
Today is a new day and a new beginning- take advantage of that!
Today is a new beginning. Forget yesterday, don't think too much about tomorrow, live today! Today is here and now. If we hold on to yesterday it will only bring us down, if we fret about tomorrow we will only be discouraged. Think about today and think about the good things it has in store. Everyday is a chance to wake up, have that clean slate of a day set before us and the opportunity to use it as we choose. We can mope and complain about our situation or our family or friends or kids,,, or we can hold on to the good things and enjoy the positive things and people in our lives. Choose happiness- I believe that no matter what we are experiencing, we can 'choose' happiness or we can 'choose' negativity.
Our response and attitude toward little things in our life are just reflections on our outlook on life itself-

Dirty Laundry Anyone?!
Dirty laundry- It's not something your friends and neighbors would knock on your front door and ask to have. Dirty laundry- It's not something you would take to a social gathering and put it on the table in front of all your friends while you socialized and talked. Dirty laundry- It's not something you would keep in your pockets or backpack to pull out and show everyone you saw. Really, it belongs in your house and even more hidden than that, in the hamper to get washed and made clean so when you take that laundry out to socialize it's clean and refreshing and uplifting to see the clean fresh laundry that you have.
So, if you wouldn't present your literal dirty laundry in any of those circumstances, why do so many on facebook think that anyone wants to see their dirty laundry in a social setting such as facebook. Really?! Seriously?! Come on people, no one wants to see your dirty laundry on facebook. It belongs behind your doors and even better than that, in the hamper ready to get washed. And if it's really that bad 'try being a little bit optimistic' that it will get washed or else you are dooming yourself that it will only get dirtier! By airing your dirty laundry on facebook you look like an immature teenager who refuses to grow up and can't take responsibility. Really, if you are over the age of 15, close that hamper lid. Tight, until wash day.

You can tell kids what to do and how to act all you want but the best way to communicate that is by actions. Kids will learn the most from you when you are not trying to teach them. Now THAT is pressure baby.

Tip of the day #9
Be an optimist-
There is a world of difference between the everyday life of an optimist and of a pessimist. The optimist sees people and things and situations as possibilities, possibilities that tomorrow will be better or maybe if life seems to be hectic and sucky, focus on the roof over your head and the heat and the money to pay that
heating bill. Focus on the family and the friends that are there for you. A pessimist will always focus on the bad or the negative of a situation or only see a person's decision in a bad light. If a person in a position of responsibility makes a decision that affects us, say, a school teacher, a boss, a manager or parent, we can focus on the fact that it is NOT what I think should be done, or we can look at it as "This person is clearly in this position because they are best for the job, and I'm sure they made this decision based on factors that I am clearly not aware of, so based on this, I am ok with this decision even though it seems unfair to me, my kids or employees".

If you get stuck in the snow, don't rev your engine n spin wheels. It will make ice out of the snow you are slipping on and could cost a Ton in repairs. We get busy this time of year from people doing just that.

Congratulations you're ruining her childhood
We were shopping at Walmart on Saturday when we turned down the freezer aisle, there was a black woman about 40-45 years old with daughter of about 4-5. The little girl was on the phone looking sheepish when the mom walked up to her and smacked her on the head with an open hand and yelled "Shut up you a**hole". The little girl began to cry and beg for the person on the other end of the line "Can I please come to your house, my mom is hitting me again". and to that the mom walked up and got real close to the girl and said "I'm gonna f**k you up".
