Pretty Paper

Pretty paper, pretty ribbons of blue
Wrap your presents to your darling from you
Pretty pencils to write I love you
Pretty paper, pretty ribbons of blue

Crowded streets,
busy feet,
hustle by him
Downtown shoppers, Christmas is nigh
There he sits....
all alone....
on the sidewalk.....
Hoping......
that you won't pass him by.....

Should you stop?
Better not,
much too busy
You're in a hurry,
my how time does fly
In the distance the ringing of laughter
And in the midst of the laughter
he... cries

Pretty paper, pretty ribbons of blue
Wrap your presents to your darling from you
Pretty pencils to write I love you
Pretty paper, pretty ribbons of blue

If Christmas is about giving and really about giving to those who are less fortunate, how come so many of us only give to those we really love AND those who really don't need what we buy them?

I challenge everyone who reads this to give gifts to someone who might not get one this year. Even if it means skimping on some of your regular gifts. Tell me who would not understand if you said, "I only got you that because I bought a homeless girl a new coat and mittens this year".

When you laugh this season in your lavish meals and big heavy coats in the snow,,,,,, "And in the midst of the laughter.. he cries".

Help put Christ's love back in Christmas.

Most critical 4 years!

As parents, we choose to have children and therefore we are obligated to sacrifice almost everything in our life to raise, teach and protect...
