Eating alone

On Mother's Day there was a lady in her 50's eating dinner alone at J.B.Dawson's.

At Larry's at 10:30pm there was a man eating a cheese steak and fries alone.

At Ooka's Japanese Restaurant there was a man eating dinner alone.

There must be somewhat of a sense of self-consciousness when eating alone at a restaurant as opposed to a fast food joint. To sit at a nice place and be eating dinner alone while others around you are talking and laughing with a friend or spouse and kids. Do other people in the restaurant really even notice a single person sitting there eating with no friend? Is this person not worthy of friends? Does this person have no one to call to have a meal with?

To eat at home alone is one thing because if you live alone it's really the only option but to eat alone. It seems that there must be a friend or family member who might go out with them.
It makes the ones who have friends and family ever more thankful that they are loved and desired to be around when you see what looks like a lonely situation like that.

Did they alienate their family and now paying for it without them?

Keep those ties strong-

IMHO- Family is very important- I believe that we need to be far sighted when it comes to our choices and decisions regarding our family. We need to look WWwwaayyyy down the road and make sure what we do and what we choose now is not going to have us eating alone in 20 or 30 years. Not to make decisions that we know will separate us from our friends and family. We may think to ourselves "this is MY life and MY choice and MY consequences". That is 100% correct. Our choice-Our consequences.

Make good choices today and never eat alone-
