Daddys love your daughters!

Daddys love your daughters because what they choose to do with their lives is your fault or for you to be proud of. Fathers who are not around for their daughters emotionally as well as physically are more likely to look for that love they miss, but in another man. Usually a boyfriend or a casual hookup. In which case they will do or give anything to find the love they are missing from their daddys. Hug that daughter, tell her you love her, make sure she knows it!! Do it so much that she actually has to remind you that she already knows and embarrass her in public with your love for her. Do nice things for her and buy her things but also the hugs and kisses and spending time, taking time to sit and talk, showing an interest in whatever she is doing...... all this.... could save a life could save a soul could save your daughter.

For me, this is my little sisters! That is a scary thought to know that my choices will affect where my sisters go in life. I can't imagine what it is must be like for you dads!!

My Savior

I am not skilled to understand
What God has willed what God has planned
I only know at His right hand
Is One who is my Savior

Stains from my past

They say that the past is the past, but what happens when you shove the past so hard that it bleeds, and it bleeds into the present time. The bleeding past stains and threatens to permenantly stain if you don't get it in cold water right away. The past that you've hit hard, that you've trampled underfoot, that you left hanging on a cliff has somehow pulled itself together and wrapped it's wounds enough to survive and take one last swipe at you leaving stains all over. Trying to drag you back down to where you used to be. Back into what you used to be. And it haunts every part of you with fear of destruction and disappointment. And you feel as though you are in this alone because can anyone really understand the magnitude and seriousness if you do not take them there? Could you ever bring yourself to take them to a place you crucified and left for dead? It burns that the stories you've heard are really true! They were as true ever! You feel as though someone has drop kicked you in the stomach with the realization that 'it's me'. They were talking about me. And then the devil shows up....... Wait, it was him all along. I DO NOT have to accept what they say is 'normal' for a past to re-visit. I do not have to accept anything the world says 'will happen'. God who gives freely to those who ask without finding fault is there waiting for me to ask, again and again and again. Waiting to give me the wisdom of how to pray, what to do and what to say!

The same God who has guided me this far out of the doomed past, will lift me up, give me that wisdom promised and guide me further on.

Praising God for what he has done so far and waiting with anticipation for what he is going to do in my future!!

Comfort in trials

Psalm 46:1-2 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we frear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

URGENT: CREATION INFO

Creation 2006 Northeast schedule for June 28 – July 1, 2006 has been postponed until June 27 – June 30, 2007.

FOR IMMEDETE RELEASE

Creation 2006 Northeast schedule for June 28 – July 1, 2006 has been postponed until June 27 – June 30, 2007. This difficult decision has been made after much prayer and consideration. Due to the large amounts of rain that have fallen in the past 48 hours and the additional heavy rain fall that is expected this week, festival Administration, in conjunction with local Emergency Management, have concluded that the grounds are not safe for Creation attendees.

Creation 2006 Northeast tickets will be honored at Creation 2007 Northeast. Additional information will be posted on here shortly. We apologize for the inconvenience this will cause you. Be assured that this decision has been made for the safety of all attending. We appreciate your continued prayers for the Creation Festival and its staff and look forward to joining together in 2007.

HEART

HEART:
Pursuing What God Has Written on Your Heart

Genesis 6:5-6 The LORD saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.

1Samual 13:14 But now your kingdom will not endure; the LORD has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him leader of his people, because you have not kept the LORD’S command.”

Psalms 4:4 In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. Selah

Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.

Proverbs 14:10 Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy.

Proverbs 27:19 As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Romans 2:14-15 Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, 1since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.

Romans 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?

Luke 8:15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

Any comparison,,,,, at all ? ?

My friend Jon posted his thoughts and opinions about a couple items including abortion, the war in Iraq, who the U.S. funds.. etc. etc. I want to quote one part of his post and encourage you to click on his name above and read his entire post. Actually check his blog often he has some deep, thought provoking and sometime provocative posts.

(Before I get into the meat of today's lesson, I want to make a point about these pro-life protesters. I think it's cool what they're doing, but I worry about the traumatic potential for regretful almost-mothers. I wonder if the abortion conversation would be better in a one-on-one environment of mutual respect. Also, I believe the term "intellectually dishonest" would apply to anyone who would support these banners but be opposed to an equally graphic depiction of what happens on a battlefield. There are plenty of innocent children and pregnant women who have been killed by our bombs and guns and tanks. Who will speak for them? I found it ironic to hear "pro-life" Bush celebrating the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi while driving past these protesters.)

Now I know that his whole loong post was not about abortion or the death of Zarqawi. But to compare the death of an innocent unborn child (of whom the prolife part spoke of) to the head of a terrorists group Abu Musab al-Zarqawi who, if he hadnt been blown up, probably would have admitted to all that he has done. Calling President Bush "Pro-life, which he claims to be, and then questioning the death of a terrorist under his command........??? Can they be compared at all??

I don't condone abortion of any kind. I don't condone or support war or killing of any kind. I think that this day and age war is not supported in scripture at all. Would any of you feel comfortable picking up a gun and killing someone that you know nothing about. Just because the commander says to kill? Not me.

So, A comparison of an unborn human being and a terrorist,,, is one mor acceptable to see deliberately killed????

Most critical 4 years!

As parents, we choose to have children and therefore we are obligated to sacrifice almost everything in our life to raise, teach and protect...
